Party Troupe has grown into the
multi dimensional entertainment source shown on this site. The founder, Peter Toma, was
a High School Teacher and History Department Head. My teaching career in hometown Waterbury spanned 35 years.
Interacting educationaly with youngsters and adults has always
been rewarding to me. To combine educational messages with entertainment is in some respects, even more gratifying.
Most of the performances are handled by the professionals we work with, but Mary and I also contribute in a meaningful way. Her artistic talents are perhaps best shown in the custom Face Painting she offers. Full face creations include many characters and images such as the popular Spiderman and kitten faces as well as scores of others. She is most often seen as Lollipop the Clown or Raggedy Ann. Intricate Balloon Sculpturing is also her specialty.
Peter often serves as Quizmaster or Ringmaster. Master of Ceremonies is also in his realm. But my real value to the organization is in
coordinating the Party Troupe in an effective manner to the benefit of both customer and performer. It is also gratifying to me to realize that many of the key performers and heads of Entertainment Agencies in the state of Connecticut, and some in nearby states, are
friends and mutual allies in the goal of providing a measure of the Performing Arts in a way that is enjoyable and affordable.
